Not a lot we can write about this one that the pictures don't more eloquently say. We love the vintage Reeves pressure gauge, the square thread reverser, hand lettered tender and cab, and dummy Wakefield lubricators; all contribute to a model that captures the essence of Stanier's highly successful mixed traffic locomotive.
The boiler has had hydraulic test with new certification issued, the locomotive rolls freely and runs on air in either direction. In deference to its age, quality and condition we haven't steamed the engine, simply sat and admired it...
