This one has come to us as part of a small collection of engines, the work of a highly capable engineer responsible, amongst other things, for the magnificent Britannia "Apollo" we sold earlier in the year and the Midland 2P currently listed.
The engine has had a good deal of running in the past, witnessed by wear to the motion work and valve gear which will need some rebushing in the future.
The boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued, the regulator is currently seized.
