Work to date on this one is unremittingly grim, the chassis makes just about one turn of the wheels before locking up. Motion and valve gear is badly fitted and horribly finished, everything below the running boards needing a complete overhaul.
Above is a happier story, with a commercially built boiler by Western Steam - by far the nicest bit of the engine.
Whilst much of what is done is pretty grotty, most of the parts are there. It certainly needs virtually everything refitting and/or rebushing, but this could be done at little cost other than time in the workshop.
