A stretched version of LBSC's popular design for a large-boilered Atlantic, with an extra set of driving wheels to make a handsomely proportioned "North Eastern" style Pacific - looks like just the sort of thing that Greenly would have come up with (and we'd love to see one of these in 7 1/4 inch gauge!)
The boiler has two leaks from the throatplate to barrel seam - a repair has been made in the past, the boiler will need to be removed from the frames and pickled prior to repair.
The workshop was much taken with this one, its job card reading "there is wear in the valve gear and motion work however the engine runs really nicely in both directions with crisp, well defined beats. A superb restoration project for someone, it will make a fantastic little engine".
Couldn't have put it better myself, I think it's a super looking thing!
