A 3 1/2 inch gauge GWR small Prairie to Martin Evans' "Firefly" design, unsteamed from new.
The locomotive has a silver soldered copper boiler by Western Steam with manufacturer's original shell test certificate - the boiler was supplied new in 2001, the locomotive had its first (and only) club hydraulic test in 2009 when completed.
The engine needs some work to commission for steaming - it runs on air in reverse, not so well forwards so needs either eccentrics or valve setting. There is a minor leak on hydraulic test from the wet header flange.
