A 3 1/2 inch gauge Duchess, an older engine which runs well after much careful work in the hands of its previous owner, a bit of a Duchess fan who previously had a 5 inch gauge example.
Silver soldered copper boiler, three element radiant superheater, 90psi working pressure. Feed by injector, twin axle pumps and auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves, outside valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with derived drive via rockers to inside valves. Screw reverser in the cab. Steam brake.
Paintwork is serviceable rather than award winning, it certainly wouldn't disgrace the engine at the club.
