Rather a well-made chassis for a 3 1/2 inch gauge quarry Hunslet to Martin Evans' "Conway" design. There is some very light surface rust which rubs off easily with Scotchbrite. Comprises:

 

Main frames (note no horns or axleboxes - the axles are supported on wood blocks in the pictures)
Working leaf springs and hangers
Wheels, axles, flycranks and crankpins
Valve rod guides
Valve gear eccentric straps and sheaves
Buffer beams
Derailing bars
Weighshaft
Axle pump, ram, eccentric strap and sheave
Brake hangers

Castings and drawings for this popular engine are still available from both Reeves and Blackgates. In 3 1/2 inch gauge, the narrow-gauge Hunslets come out a similar size to many 5 inch gauge engines.
