A 3 1/2 inch gauge Canadian switcher to Martin Evans' "Caribou" design. A well made engine which appears to have seen very little use, machining is crisp, fit and finish of valve gear and motionwork good.
The silver soldered boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued. The chassis runs on air well in both directions, although with some blow by - either piston valves or pistons.
There is a small chip out of one driving wheel flange, one drain cock is missing.
