A 3 1/2 inch gauge Britannia - sold recently, it's come back after an unfortunate change in the new owner's circumstances. Exactly the same as when it was here before - words and pictures below are from earlier in the year.

A 3 1/2 inch gauge Britannia to the LBSC design, an older engine which hasn't been run in some years - it came in with a set of drawings, the last test certificate done in 2004 after it had been sent away for servicing, with work carried out on safety valves and fittings.

Silver soldered copper boiler, feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaerts gear, screw reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator.

The engine is complete and pushed along freely. Regulator leaks copiously, one driving wheel is loose on its axle.

Complete with a substantial pair of storage/transit boxes.
