A particularly well-made example of LBSC's "Britannia", this one came from the son of the builder. It was steamed once on completion but has since been on display in the case you see in the pictures - other than a couple of minor chips of paint missing, it is in as-new condition throughout.

Silver soldered combustion chamber boiler, working pressure 80psi, feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in tender. Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with screw reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
