ign="left">Silver-soldered superheated copper boiler with combustion
chamber. Plumbed for feed by axle pump and injector. Twin safety valves, water
gauge with blow down, working pressure 80psi.
Gunmetal cylinders, slide valve actuated by Walschaerts valve gear, screw reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
A well-made engine with particularly finely made motion work, in good mechanical order throughout. Curiously, the injector has been removed, along with the axle pump plumbing. I've run the engine using my driving truck with tank and pump to feed the boiler - it goes very well. Complete with a nicely made set of storage crates.
