I've had this Atlantic, built to LBSC's "Maisie" design, squirelled away in the workshop for months now, promising myself it was worthy of a tidy up and possible repaint. It's a well-made older engine with a sound boiler and decent running gear - it needs some light tidying up rather than significant overhaul.
Silver soldered copper combustion chamber boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by axle pump and injector with auxiliar hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinder with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's valve gear with pole reverser in the cab. Mechanical cylinder lubricator.
