A quirky locomotive from the workshop of a prolific engineer responsible, amongst other things, for the 7 1/4 inch gauge "Tug" and 4 inch Fowler road locomotive currently in stock.

Comprising a silver-soldered multi-tube copper boiler providing steam for a Stuart No.4 vertical engine with reversing gear, mounted on a pair of bogies with chain drive to the rear unit. Although unused for some years, the engine turns over freely and, from the condition of the Stuart engine and boiler, it appears to have had little use. Water feed is by injector, mechanical and hand pumps, all fed from a substantial tank at the front.
