Unpainted and mechanically in excellent condition, it appears to have only been test steamed from new.
Boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test at 160psi for 80psi working with certification issued for same.
The engine rolls freely with little perceptible wear in valve gear or motionwork. there's some video of it running on air here.
An iconic design that introduced innumerable model engineers (me included) to locomotive building - no bookshelf should be without one!
