We sold this one back at the beginning of last year - it's recently come back with several other engines, including an Aveling wagon and Simplicity steam roller, as the owner is downsizing his collection.
Â
A 2 inch scale traction engine, built to Len Mason's popular "Minnie" design, doubled up. It makes for a large engine in this scale, big enough to rally whilst still easy to transport in a car.
Â
The flywheel runs out slightly and the rear brake stand could use an extra fastening to the tender, however the engine goes well, we had it running around our yard one afternoon last week after the steam test.
