Recently emerged from a shed where it's languished for many years, the engine is about 70% complete, grubby and with a good deal of surface rust - light, it would clean off fairly easily with Scotchbrite.

Work to date comprises:

• rolling chassis with wheels and steering gear, smokebox assembly, belly tanks and tender
• gearing - with some fitted - including differential
• copper boiler
• motionwork and valve gear
• cylinder block

We normally see these in Showmans form, although it makes a good looking model as an unadorned road locomotive - we sold a good one back in 2018, there are picture in the archive here.
