The Fowler has seen regular use at rallies North of the Border in recent years and comes complete with a driving trolley and rather attractive fairground style advertising board.
The commercial boiler by John Ellis has had recent hydraulic and steam tests, requiring little more than the fitting of a new injector. The safety valves have been replaced with commercial pop-types in the past, with the originals retained should a new owner wish to revert to that type.
The engine runs well with some wear evident in main bearings, valve rod guides and crossheads - at some stage in the future it would be worth a light top end overhaul.
