Subject to a recent four year restoration involving the engine being completely stripped and cleaned prior to reassembly, it has come to us from a meticulous engineer - his day job at Ferrari involves working on fuel cells.
The engine has been reassembled and test steamed in its current form, however, despite the hundreds of hours of work already invested, the owner decided he couldn't face the job of stripping it yet again to paint!
The silver soldered copper boiler is a commercially built job supplied by Blackgates Engineering, it's had a recent hydraulic test with new certification issued.
A worthwhile project - it needs time rather than further money spending on it, mainly stripping, painting and reassembly.
Complete with drawings and transfers for wheel lining.
