2 1/2 inch gauge part-built "Dyak" - stock code 8381

A 2 1/2 inch gauge Mogul to LBSC's "Dyak" design, first published in "Model Engineer" in the 1930s.

It's unpainted, although motionwork shows signs of wear, the boiler has been fired in the past - it looks more like a stalled restoration project than part-built engine.

Various parts missing including one locomotive and both tender buffers, pressure gauge and handrails. There is a box of loose parts including reversing stand, whistle, cylinder cladding sheets, clacks and various other small parts. The chassis pushes along freely.

Complete with original copies of the build articles from 1934. Rather like waiting for a bus, you don't see one for ages then two come in the same month - we sold this one, similarly unpainted, earlier in the month.
