A finely made 2 1/2 inch gauge LNER Pacific, possibly commercially built as one of a small batch using Bassett Lowke castings. This locomotive has come from a collection of models, the late owner used to work part time for "Steam Age" of Cadogan Street in the 1980s.
There is no boiler beneath the cladding - the original design was available in both spirit and coal-fired versions - however the chassis looks complete and ready to run, with displacement lubricator and axle pump. Smokebox, boiler cladding and cab are neatly made, the eight wheel corridor-type tender is complete, with hand pump installed.
