The chassis turns over freely although the valves and/or pistons pass air - not unusual in an engine that has been out of service for a prolonged period, first job would be to strip, clean and lubricate cylinders.
The boiler is a traditional copper locomotive type with nutted and calked firebox stays - it appeared structurally sound on hydraulic test at twice working pressure, although with a variety of minor leaks on stays heads and tube plate, showing up as beads of water.
