Model 19th century beam engine - stock code 9569

A beautifully made old model beam engine, of freelance design closely based on late nineteenth century practice.

Complete with boiler feed pump and "samovar style" cylinder oiler with finely turned lid, the engine carries what appears to be its original paint, in lovely patinated condition.

Bearing a builder's plate dated 1937, the it turns over freely and runs well on air, with some wear evident in the motionwork (as might be expected after 84 years).
