An exceptionally well-built 1 inch scale traction engine "Minnie" to Len Mason's popular design, complete with glass case in which it has been displayed in recent years. Mechanically it's in excellent condition, although it has been steamed it appears probably only to test it when built.

Silver soldered copper boiler, 50psi working pressure, feed by mechanical pump. Twin Ramsbottom type safety valves. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear, mechanical lubricator. Three shaft single speed transmission, winch behind nearside rear wheel with fairleads on tender.

Fit and finished of the motion work is good, the model is well painted and nicely detailed.
