A very nicely made example of Len Mason's "Minnie", built by a prolific model enginer who went on to build a similar quality 1 1/2 inch scale Allchin.

Silver soldered copper boiler fed by mechanical water pump with bypass. Single cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's valve gear with pole reverser on footplate. Mechanical lubricator.

Two road speeds with winch behind nearside rear wheel, fairleads mounted on tender.

The engine runs very smoothly, condition of the grate and motionwork would suggest that it has done little work.
