1 inch scale "Minnie" convertible steam roller - stock code 11773

A 1 inch scale steam roller, based on Len Mason's popular "Minnie" agricultural engine design.

An older model, rather quirkily built with plastic tube around the front roll as a representation of steel tyres and complete with a set of front wheels with axle and perch bracket for conversion to a light tractor.

Painting is of the garish "primary school paintbox" tendency - it would make a worthwhile project to strip, clean and repaint.

The engine turns over freely and has a certain vintage charm of its own. Rarely modelled in any scale, it's always nice to see a steam roller - regular readers will know that we're fans of these machines in all scales up to full size!
