A well-advanced 1 1/2 inch scale Allchin agricultural engine to Bill Hughes' "Royal Chester" design, the work of an experienced engineer with Britannias in both 3 1/2 and 5 inch gauge to his credit, along with a 5 inch gauge LMS Jubilee nearing completion.

The engine has come to us from the late builder's family. Work to date is to a good standard, there is some minor surface rust from storage which would clean off easily before painting.
