An older engine, bearing a maker's plate dated 1980. In remarkable condition for an engine approaching fifty years old, it presents very well with bright paintwork and runs beautifully on air in either direction, down to a slow tickover.
The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test - passed with not even a drip from a fitting! Both mechanical and hand pumps work effectively.
