A set of unmachined Stuart Turner "Swan" castings - this was effectively a pair of 5A engines mounted on a common bedplate and fitted up with reversing gear for use in a full-sized boat, several are listed as fitted to craft on the Steam Boat Register.
There is a steel crankshaft which appears to be commercially-produced, covered in preservative, along with a quantity of stock material and fasteners to complete the engine. The fasteners have surface rust, stock material is in substantially clean condition.
Complete with a set of drawings, weight of castings is a bit under a hundredweight.
Bore stroke 2 1/4 x 2 inch
