A twin cylinder steam pump by Pearn's of Manchester - I was completely smitten by the architectural look of this one, combined with a truly majestic vision when it's running. It will tick over on a modest amount of steam, if you've got a lake to drain you'd probably need a decent-sized boiler, something larger than the pump itself. A late nineteenth century engine, it spent many years on display in a large collection of engines in the South of England.

In good condition, it turns over freely and, other than an old repaint, is in remarkably original condition.
