Although from the same "barn find" collection as the horizontal mill engines and rivetted boiler, this engine has actually been out and about during the 1970s, mounted on the running board of a Foster Showmans tractor, plumbed into the boiler for show.

It runs very nicely and is fitted with a displacement lubricator. I can't find a maker's mark anywhere on it and haven't seen anything quite the same before - if anybody can identify it, let me know.
