I've had the smaller "Valiant" B type fire pumps in before, this is the first Merryweather C type - rated at 200 gallons per minute, twice the output of the smaller pump. Same layout, with a fast steaming J-tube boiler coupled to a single cylinder engine direct-coupled to the pump beneath. Designed to be moved on the detachable hand-pushed carriage shown here, you can also put poles through the provided eyes on the side of the boiler and, given enough strong men, rush about with it extinguishing fires off the beaten track.

For restoration, engine turns freely, boiler is missing fittings.
