We sold this one back in August 2019, it's just arrived back along with several other excellent 3 1/2 and 5 inch gauge locomotives as, well into his eighth decade, the owner down-sizes his collection. The pictures opposite are from last year - displayed in the owner's study since he bought it, the engine remains in the same, as-new condition.

A spirit-fired gauge 1 Aster 9F 2-10-0 "Evening Star", a factory-built locomotive steamed once from new for the owner by all-round Aster expert Geoff Calver of Rushford Barn Models - he also modified the lubricator at that time.

Unsteamed since delivery, the engine has been kept for display - it remains in immaculate condition. Complete with its original carton, packaging, tool kit and manuals.
