The engine has been run until recently at the previous owner's club, with continuous boiler documentation going back to 2006. With a 4 inch scale Burrell SCC road locomotive and Foden steam wagon in the garage as well, time to drive the locomotive was becoming severely circumscribed, the reason for letting it go.
Well built originally, machining of motionwork and valve gear is crisply done. It remains in good mechanical order and has been repainted in recent times.
The engine steams freely and runs well, notching up in either direction.
