A 4 inch scale Foster agricultural engine, built in the UK but resident in Holland since 2007 - it's recently come back over, having been retubed during its stay out there. Paintwork represents "working clothes", however the engine has been well built, fit and finish of parts is good - it steams freely and runs very well, there's a clip of it here.
Welded steel boiler with expanded tubes, 120psi working pressure, feed by injector and mechanical pump. Twin Ramsbottom type safety valves. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser, mechanical lubricator. Cross arm Watt type governor, bell type whistle mounted on the cylinder block. Two speed, four shaft transmission with differential, winch behind nearside rear wheel with fairleads on tender - the engine is on rubber tyres.
Complete with a tender-mounted driver's seat with footrests.
