A part-built American 4-4-0 to LBSC's popular "Virginia" design. Work to date comprises a largely complete chassis with cylinders and much of the motionwork, a bogie tender and commercially-built silver-soldered copper boiler by the estimable John Ellis. There are the handful of castings needed to complete the engine, given the rather vestigial nature of the design's superstructure (and what there is is mostly wood) this one could be finished for little extra cost other than some boiler fittings.

Sitting here on my own writing words this evening, I've just noticed that our zealous photographer seems to have rounded up an extra dome for this shoot. It's the two Virginia-looking ones you'll get, not the big five inch gauge job in the middle.
