A nicely made example of Don Young's "Lucky 7" Forney, one of the biggest 3 1/2 inch gauge locomotives we tend to see in the workshop weighing in at well over two hundredweight. I remember Steve and I struggling to get one onto our show stand at Harrogate a few years ago, it was the last time we ever took one to an exhibition!

Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by injector and crosshead pump with auxiliary hand pump in the bunker. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, mechanical lubricator.

We've got another one of these in the moment, the inside frame version Don drew up allowing the same design to run on 7 1/4 inch gauge track - all dimensions other than the gauge remain the same.
