An early stage "Gemma" chassis, to David Malcolm's design for a nineteenth century Neilson & Co 0-4-0.
Work to date comprises frames erected with wheels, cylinders, valve chests, connecting and coupling rods. The eccentric sheaves are fitted, in a separate tin are a pair of eccentric straps, rods and expansion links.
