A 5 inch gauge LB&SCR "Terrier", based on the preserved example "Martello" at Bressingham Steam Museum which the builder had access to.
Completed in 2014, the engine was steamed on four occasions to check valve setting and sort out any initial teething problems before being stripped and painted in lined BR black livery. Since then it appears to have had little, if any use. It came to us from its second owner, in part exchange for a 7 1/4 inch narow gauge project.
The engine is complete with photographs of the build, along with the builder's log book detailing the four steamings, and a purpose-built carrying crate.
